Globespan Infrastructure was appointed as Lead International Contractor for a mutli-facility Stadium Complex, a multi million flagship project commissioned by the Ministry of Information, Youth, Culture and Sports for AFCON 2027.

The development includes a 31,000-seat stadium, 40-bed hospital, 200-key hotel, creating a multi-use hub for sport, health, and tourism. Designed to FIFA/CAF standards, the stadium features Stadi Arena’s convertible technology for year-round events.​

 

Inspired by the region’s coastal and cultural heritage, the project combines international design with local identity, delivered by Globespan and partners AFL Architects, Turner & Townsend and Orkun to leave a lasting national legacy.
